The School
The school hosts about 500 students from classes 5 till 12. All students are divided in groups of max. 15 students, supervised by 2 educators and 1 teacher. Teachers and educators are all qualified and certified.
The school atmosphere is very familiar. The education of social competence and a reflective-critical awareness has an important focus at Max Reger. Just like the musical education. The musical classes are free for all students. The music group even offers journeys with the team and rehearsal/practice days with short excursions.
The school has 2 small kitchen areas, where students have the opportunity to bake and cook for themselves. TV room, games room with a bar might be used after school.

Accommodation:
About 10% of the school’s students live in the boarding facilities. Most of them are German students from the neighbor towns and villages and visit their homes on the weekends. Most international students are from countries bordering Germany, but the school welcomes any new nationality.
Boarding students live on the upper two floors of the school building, girls and boys are accommodated on different floors.
Students till grade 11 share comfortable double rooms or 3-bed-rooms for the younger ones, with ensuite bathroom and WiFi. They are looked after by dorm parents and mentors and night guards.
The school offers freshly prepared meals each day, preferring local, seasonal and organic products and ingredients from the region.
The boarding school closes for the main vacation times and holidays, so students either travel to their home country or have the chance to stay with a host family during that time.
